The Architecture Of Software Intensive Systems - 1449 Words

Article 1 summary This article is mainly describing about the architecture of software intensive systems by using multiples of concurrent views, which is allows to study about the various stakeholders , end users, developers, system engineering, project managers,etc.., and to handle indusully functional and non function requirements. Mainly software architecture deals with the design and implementation of high level structure in software. It is the result of combination of many architectural elements in some well chose from to satisfy the functionality requirements and non functional requirements like reliability, scalability, portability, and avalibility. It is very difficult to represent the architecture in the set of boxes and arrows which shown on these diagrams. So as the remedy, author has proposed the description of a software architecture using several concurrent views, each one address one particular set of concerns. A View model is in system engineering or software engineering is a framework which defines coherent set of views to be used in construction of software architecture Philippine kruchten designed the 4+1 view model which describes the architecture of software-intensive systems using multiple ,concurrent views. The four view model are logical, development, process and physical. In addition to this selected scenarios are used to describes the serving as plus one view.use case view has a special significance, it effectively redundant ,deals with highShow MoreRelatedImplementing A Flexible Open Architecture Based Radio System933 Words   |  4 PagesSoftware defined radio (SDR) aims to overcome the limitation of the conventional radio by building a flexible open architecture based radio system. Functional modules of the radio system are implemented on reprogrammable/reconfigurable hardware platforms using software. So highly flexible. Useful for global roaming services as SDR is able to interoperate with different wireless protocols, incorporate new services, and upgrade to new standards. Hence for implementing a given radio scheme, we requiredRead Mor eSoftware Engineering : Design Rules For All Components935 Words   |  4 PagesIn software engineering, requirements from user met with available components, then following activities needs to be performed 1) Component Qualification: System requirements and architecture define the components that will be required. Reusable components (whether COTS or in house) are normally identified by the characteristics of their interfaces. That is, â€Å"the services that are provided, and the means by which consumers access these services† are described as part of the component interface. ButRead MoreSoftware Architecture By Phillipe Kruchten915 Words   |  4 PagesBlueprints—The â€Å"4+1† View Model of Software Architecture by Phillipe Kruchten, he examines how developers can use multiple views to capture the software architecture and how these views are more desirable than a single viewport that tries to capture everything. Each view, should ideally, address one specific set of concerns. For Kruchten, software architecture is the deliberate assembling of various architectural elements to fulfill the requirements of the system. The intent was to come up with aRead MoreSoft ware Based Approach : Hardware1713 Words   |  7 PagesSoftware Based Approach: Hardware based approaches constitute only a part of the solution, they offer limited power knob options. Considering the continuously evolving hardware configurations and increasing hardware heterogeneity, data management software shall play an important role in energy optimization. Query optimization and physical data independence provide opportunities for software level control over power performance tradeoffs [7,32]. Adapting Query Optimizer Energy optimizationRead MoreProject Energy Efficient Database Management Systems Essay1700 Words   |  7 Pagesoperational cost for many data intensive deployments. A large number of efforts have been made in the field of energy efficient computing at various levels ranging from individual hardware components, system software and to applications. In this paper, I have described the concept of energy efficiency problem and recent techniques to design energy efficient database management systems. I have broadly classified recent research into three categories: hardware based, software based and cluster based databaseRead MoreBuilding An Exascale Scale System1571 Words   |  7 Pagesfield of science, like in the understanding of the behavior of the fundamental components of nature. In order to build an Exascale scale system we have to overcome some of the critical challenge like architecture, software, algorithm and data challenges. Some of the important challenges of the Exascale computing are, Challenges due to scale and complexity of system Previously the power of super computers has grown by doubling the clock frequency. In the last two decades the trend has changed the powerRead MoreA Study On Korean University Curriculum1724 Words   |  7 Pagescomputer science and digital technology in design and construction phase. Therefore, according to the researches in terms of BIM course in architecture and engineering program curriculum, BIM courses are not widely extended for university’s engineering program curriculum in Korea relatively to architectural program curriculum, and students belonging to architecture or engineering program at each university do not have any cooperative connections or projects. In this dissertation, a BIM course of K UniversityRead MoreManaging contention for Shared Resources on Multicore Processors1554 Words   |  7 PagesResources on Multicore Processors Strayer University Instructor: Dr. Kegan Samuel CIS 512 Advanced Computer Architecture November 30, 2013 Abstract This â€Å"Case Study† cover information on computer systems with multicore processors which can increase performance by running applications of various types (models) and methods. This paper focuses on applications using distributed architecture, cache contention, prefetching hardware and more. Current and future contentions are discussed. Managing contentionRead MoreSoftware Product Lines and Architecture1208 Words   |  5 PagesIV. SOFTWARE PRODUCT LINES A software product line (SPL) is a set of software-intensive systems that share a common, managed set of features satisfying the specific needs of a particular market segment or mission and that are developed from a common set of core assets in a prescribed way. Software product lines are emerging as a viable and important development paradigm allowing companies to realize order-of-magnitude improvements in time to market, cost, productivity, quality, and other businessRead MoreCloud Of Cloud And Cloud Computing1734 Words   |  7 Pagesusing the cloud symbol to denote such services. As computers became cheaper and cheaper, researchers and scientists began to experiment with more ways of increasing the access of computing power. Technologists began optimizing architecture and algorithms to suit architecture, platforms and more. This was meant to increase efficiency among computer users. In 1996, the term cloud computing was first coined, and the goal was achieved in the 2000’s. Different Types of Cloud There are various types of
